Nommée première représentante spéciale des États-Unis auprès des communautés musulmanes en 2009 par la secrétaire d’État Hillary Clinton, Farah Pandith s’est rendue dans près de cent pays pendant les mandatures de Clinton et Kerry, instaurant des initiatives axées sur la jeunesse.
