Biographie

Gabrielle Walker est une experte du changement climatique qui possède une connaissance approfondie à la fois du secteur de l’énergie et du contexte politique. Elle possède un doctorat de l’Université de Cambridge et a enseigné aux universités de Cambridge et Princeton.

Son livre best-seller « The Hot Topic » remet la stratégie d’entreprise dans son contexte international pour faire face à la crise de l’énergie et au changement climatique. “The Hot Topic” est publié dans plus de vingt pays et traduit dans une douzaine de langues.

Dans le cadre de ses activités, Dr Walker travaille en étroite collaboration avec le gouvernement du Royaume-Uni sur la stratégie et la politique énergétique, notamment avec le conseiller scientifique en chef du gouvernement, un certain nombre de ministères tels que le ministère des transports, des entreprises, de l’énergie et du changement climatique, et plus récemment avec le professeur John Beddington.

Gabrielle Walker est régulièrement modératrice et intervient lors de conférences partout dans le monde. Elle y fournit des conseils stratégiques aux entreprises et gouvernements quant à la meilleure façon de préparer et de répondre aux conséquences du changement climatique.
