Diplômée d’une maîtrise de sciences de gestion de l’université Paris Dauphine en 1998, Capucine Graby débute dans le journalisme l’année suivante lors d’un stage au sein de l’agence de presse Bloomberg News. La même année, elle est diplômée du DESS 226 médias/ télévisions de l’université Paris Dauphine.
En 1999, elle part en Asie et devient correspondante pour La Tribune et La Croix à Séoul en Corée du Sud. En 2000, elle rejoint la rédaction de la radio BFM à Paris et intègre le service « Économie-Entreprises ». Entre janvier et avril 2002, elle part réaliser un livre de photos entre le Togo, le Burkina Faso et le Mali, ‘Expressions d’Afrique’, qui sera publié aux Éditions Nathan, et réalise son premier documentaire, ‘Le Marché de l’innocence’, film qui témoigne de l’esclavage des enfants maliens enrôlés dans les plantations de cacao de Côte d’Ivoire.
À son retour elle pige pour Le Nouvel Observateur, Le Point, Le Figaro et le magazine Stratégies. En septembre 2005, elle rejoint la rédaction de Public Sénat, et anime à partir de janvier 2006, une émission bimensuelle, ‘Paroles de sciences’, en partenariat avec le magazine Sciences & Avenir. En avril 2007, elle publie son deuxième livre, ‘Le Sexe fort’ aux Éditions Bourin.
En septembre 2007, elle intègre la rédaction d’I-télé et réalise des reportages et des chroniques au service économique. En septembre 2009, elle anime les tranches 17/18h, et 21/22h et notamment l’émission ‘Les Échos de l’éco’, en partenariat avec Les Échos à 21 h 15 . En septembre 2010, elle chronique tous les matins dans la matinale d’I-télé sur l’actualité économique française et internationale dans « la question éco ». Elle co-anime avec Marc Simoncini tous les soirs de la semaine à 20 h 50, l’émission I-L@B.
Capucine Graby travaille sur différents documentaires en collaboration avec Story Box Press Production. Elle a notamment réalisée pour Canal Investigation « Vacances : derrière la carte postale » diffusé en juin 2012 sur Canal+. Elle publie en octobre 2012 avec Marc Simoncini : « Grandeurs et Misères des Stars du Net » (Editions Grasset).
