Lucy Hawking utilise le principe de la narration pour vulgariser la science auprès du public, l’aider à la comprendre et à s’y intéresser.
Lucy est à l’origine de la série de livres « George Greenby », des histoires d’aventures qui utilisent le storytelling pour expliquer la science auprès du jeune public. Hawking a collaboré avec plusieurs scientifiques de renom sur la série de livres, y compris son père, le célèbre physicien et théoricien Stephen Hawking. Traduits en 40 langues, les livres ont remporté un réel succès auprès du public. Lucy Hawking travaille actuellement avec le studio d’animation canadien DHX media, pour adapter les livres en une série d’animation destinée à la télévision.
Auparavant, Lucy a travaillé en tant que journaliste à Londres et à New York.
