Avant de rejoindre la SFI en 2010, Oliver Griffith est diplomate américain de 1985 à 2007, et Directeur Général de la Chambre de Commerce Américaine en France (AmCham). A l’AmCham il augmente les revenus et le nombre de membres de près de 100% en trois ans, participe à plus de 100 entrevues avec les médias, et organise des dizaines de conférences par an. Oliver Griffith commence sa carrière internationale en tant que diplomate américain, occupant des postes de conseiller économique ou administrateur au Rwanda, Centrafrique, Venezuela, Guatemala, Uruguay, Trinidad et Tobago, Allemagne et France.
