Célèbre entraîneur de tennis et coach à succès, Patrick Mouratoglou a remporté 10 titres du Grand Chelem, 4 titres de coach de l’année, 39 titres de coach et 2 médailles olympiques. Il a accompagné à ce jour plus de 40 joueurs qui ont atteint le Top 100.
À l’âge de 26 ans, Patrick a débuté sa carrière d’entraîneur et a créé la Mouratoglou Academy en France, motivé par la passion de dénicher de nouveaux talents du tennis. Elle est aujourd’hui l’académie de tennis numéro 1 en Europe, et elle est une base d’entraînement fréquentée par les meilleurs joueurs ATP et WTA du monde.
En 1999, Patrick Mouratoglou a commencé à entraîner Marcos Baghdatis et à façonner sa carrière. Devenu numéro 1 mondial junior, Baghdatis a remporté l’Open d’Australie junior en 2003. Entre 2007 et 2011, Patrick a entraîné Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, Aravane Rezaï, Yanina Wickmayer et Laura Robson. Au cours de ces mêmes années, Patrick a accueilli Jérémy Chardy à l’Académie et a commencé à entraîner Grigor Dimitrov, le faisant entrer dans le Top 50 du classement ATP en seulement 5 mois.
En 2012, Patrick a saisi l’opportunité de devenir le coach de l’icône du tennis Serena Williams, la ramenant alors à la première place, un tournant qui l’a rendu incontournable et célèbre dans le monde du tennis. Ensemble, ils ont collectionné les victoires : deux médailles d’or aux Jeux olympiques de Londres en 2012, 10 Grands Chelems, 3 WTA Finals,…
En 2014, Patrick Mouratoglou a créé la Fondation Champ’seed en 2014 pour aider les futurs talents du tennis qui n’ont pas les ressources financières pour atteindre les plus grandes compétitions internationales.
Patrick est également un consultant international pour les plus grandes chaines : ESPN, Fox Asia, France Televisions ou encore Eurosport International, où il a animé une émission diffusée dans 54 pays.
En 2020, il a lancé un format de compétition révolutionnaire : la ligue UTS (Ultimate Tennis Showdown).
La même année, Patrick a participé, aux côtés d’entraîneurs de renom (Doc Rivers, José Mourinho et Dawn Staley), à la série Netflix « Secrets de coach », réalisée par LeBron James.
Il a été élu parmi les 50 Français les plus influents du monde par Vanity Fair. Il est dans le Top 15 des personnalités qui font le tennis mondial dressé par le magazine l’Equipe. Et il est l’un des coachs les plus suivis sur les réseaux sociaux rassemblant une communauté de plus de 2,5 millions d’abonnés à qui il partage quotidiennement ses conseils et analyses tennistiques.
