Christine Ockrent est l’ancienne directrice générale de France 24 et RFI puis devient rédactrice en chef de l’hebdomadaire L’Express. Première femme à présenter et produire l’édition du journal d’information du soir, elle possède une carrière télévisuelle impressionnante et reçoit de nombreux prix français et internationaux pour son travail dans le journalisme télé. En 2007, on lui décerne la Légion d’Honneur française, et est également officier de l’Ordre National du Mérite et de l’Ordre de Léopold (Belgique).
Sa carrière dans le journalisme commence chez NBC News avant de travailler pour CBS’ 60 Minutes pendant huit ans. En tant que rédactrice en chef de L’Express, elle est la seule journaliste à pouvoir interviewer Saddam Hussein en plein coeur de la Guerre du Golf.
