Skipper professionnel depuis plus de vingt ans, Christopher Pratt a construit une trajectoire singulière dans l’univers exigeant de la course au large. Animé très jeune par la victoire de Florence Arthaud sur Pierre 1er lors de la Route du Rhum 1990, il décide de consacrer sa vie à la navigation au plus haut niveau. Champion de France et d’Europe, vice-champion du monde en dériveur à seulement 18 ans, ce Franco-Britannique installé à Marseille s’impose rapidement sur la scène internationale comme un équipier incontournable.
Au fil des années, il participe aux grandes épreuves du circuit : Solitaire du Figaro, Tour de France à la Voile, Transat Jacques Vabre, The Ocean Race ou encore la Route du Rhum. Il s’illustre d’abord par deux victoires sur le Tour de France à la Voile en équipage, avant de briller sur le Figaro où, en seulement deux ans, il remporte deux compétitions majeures et le classement Bizuth de la Solitaire. En 2010, il entre dans la cour des grands comme benjamin de la Route du Rhum en IMOCA et signe une performance remarquée. La suite confirme sa régularité au plus haut niveau : quatre médailles de bronze sur la Transat Jacques Vabre et une médaille d’argent sur The Ocean Race.
Parallèlement à son parcours sportif, Christopher Pratt développe depuis plus de quinze ans une activité entrepreneuriale structurée autour de la performance en environnement incertain. Fondateur de MARSAIL en 2008, il croise son expérience du large avec la psychosociologie et la recherche appliquée sur la prise de décision, l’engagement et la motivation en milieu extrême.
