Son succès parisien est relayé de places en places et son enseigne apparaît tour à tour à Genève, Boston, aux Antilles françaises, et à Tokyo alors que ses produits de confiserie se retrouvent jusqu’en Amérique du Sud et en Orient.
Fou de chocolat, il en devient, au fil des ans, un spécialiste incontesté. Il parcourt régulièrement le monde à la recherche des meilleurs crus. Christian Constant se passionne aussi pour l’histoire des civilisations méso-américaines. Ses travaux seront couronnés par l’Académie Française du Chocolat dont il devient l’un des quarante immortels. Ses conférences, ses publications et l’ensemble de ses recherches lui vaudront d’être décoré des Palmes Académiques et d’être fait Officier de l’Ordre National des Arts et des Lettres.
Comme l’œnologue assemble les cépages, Christian Constant compose un monde de sensations voluptueuses aux multiples nuances de saveurs.
