Karine Baillet est une double vice-championne du monde de raid multisports en 2006 et 2007. Elle détient le record de traversée de La Manche chez les femmes au moyen de quatre embarcations différentes : wakeboard, funboard, kayak et catamaran. Elle a également participé à l’Enduropale du Touquet en moto et en quad. Le 15 août 2007, elle devient la première femme à traverser La Manche aller-retour France-Angleterre en windsurf dans des conditions de mer forte et vent fort. En 2006, elle devient vice championne du monde de raids aux championnats du monde au Québec et en 2007, elle décroche le titre du vice championne du monde des raids en Écosse.
En 2002, son équipe VSD Eider ressort victorieuse du raid le plus difficile au monde: Les Gouloises au Vietnam, le championnat du monde officiel qui dure 6 jours, 19 heures, 14 minutes et d’une durée de 1000 kms.
Parmi ses victoires comptent aussi le raid Adventure Reunion (2004), le cinquième raid X-series aux Etats-Unis, le huitième raid X-series France- Italie, le cinquième raid X-series en Australie, le raid Adventure reunion de 2005, le Raid Oman adventure (2006), le second raid international Ecomotion au Brésil (octobre 2007), la première édition du raid Canéo en 2008, le raid espagnol la Bimbache en 2008, et obtient la troisième place femme au Marathon des Sables en 2012.
En 2001, Karine Baillet créé le raid Touquet-Calais, le raid multisport le plus important de France. En 2008, Karine Baillet est élue présidente du groupe national des raids, fondé en 2008. L’année suivante, elle devient la première femme pilote à participer seule à l’Enduro du Touquet, les 21 et 22 Février 2009.
Aujourd’hui, elle partage son savoir et ses expériences avec le monde des affaires. Karine Baillet est entraîneur de raid multisport et coach de travail d’équipe en entreprise.
