De 2006 à 2014, Van Bockel travaille chez Red Bull, jouant un rôle clé dans la transition d’une entreprise de boissons énergisantes vers une entreprise de médias. Il dirige plusieurs des plus grands projets de Red Bull, dont Revolutions in Sound, Air Race Ascot et Imaginate de Danny Macaskill. Au Royaume-Uni, il œuvre à la mise en place de la Red Bull Media House, au lancement d’un magazine et d’une chaîne de télévision, et contribue considérablement à renforcer la présence numérique et sociale de la marque.
Huib débute sa carrière en tant que stagiaire en gestion chez Unilever, où il accumule expérience professionnelle et formation durant 6 ans.
