Jonathan Story est professeur émérite de politique économique international à l’INSEAD depuis 1974. Auparavant, il travaille à Bruxelles et Washington où il obtient un doctorat de la John Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
Son dernier livre est ‘China UnCovered: What you need to know to do business in China, (FT/ Pearson’s, 2010) et il travaille actuellement sur son prochain ouvrage ‘China in the World. Ses ouvrages précédents incluent “China: The Race to Market” (FT/Pearsons, 2003), The Frontiers of Fortune, (Pitman’s, 1999) and The Political Economy of Financial Integration in Europe: The Battle of the Systems, (MIT Press, 1998) sur l’union monétaire et financière au sein de l’Union Européenne, écrit en collaboration avec Ingo Walter de NYU.

Ses derniers cas concernent les investissements hôteliers en Egypte et en Argentine, une manufacture de textiles féminins au Sri Lanka et un fournisseur chinois de pièces automobiles détachées.
