Vainqueur de 13 Grands Prix, dont deux fois vainqueur du Grand Prix de Grande-Bretagne et de Monaco, David Coulthard est monté 62 fois sur le podium au cours d’une longue carrière en Formule 1, qui l’a vu affronter les plus grands compétiteurs de la discipline, dont Michael Schumacher, Mika Hakkinen, Fernando Alonso et Lewis Hamilton.
