Sabina Jeschke a été membre du conseil d’administration de la Deutsche Bahn AG de novembre 2017 à mai 2021, en charge du département « Transformation Digitale
et Technologie ». Elle détient un doctorat en physique et est experte en intelligence artificielle et en robotique.
Sabina a étudié la physique, l’informatique, les mathématiques et obtenu son doctorat en physique à la TU Berlin. Elle a mené des activités de recherche au NASA’s AMES Research Center en Californie et à Georgia Tech à Atlanta. Elle a été nommée Junior Professor for New Media à la TU Berlin en 2005.
Après avoir enseigné à la RWTH Aachen, à l’Université de Stuttgart et à la TU Berlin, elle a rejoint le secteur privé en 2017 et est devenue membre du conseil d’administration de la Deutsche Bahn AG. Ses domaines d’activité incluent l’orientation stratégique, le pilotage de la transformation digitale à l’échelle du groupe et le développement technologique. Elle est en charge des missions de cybersécurité, comme des innovations technologiques.

En 2014, elle a été professeur invité à HKUST à Hong Kong et en 2016 à SUTD à Singapour. Elle est également professeur honoraire à l’Université RWTH d’Aix-la-Chapelle et à l’Université technique de Berlin.
Elle a déjà reçu de nombreux prix pour son travail, dont le prix « German’s Digital Minds » 2014 de la Gesellschaft für Informatik. En 2019, Sabina a été reconnue par LinkedIn comme l’une des dix meilleures influenceuses du monde germanophone. Avec plus de 60 000 abonnés, elle fait partie des 50 auteurs les plus influents du réseau dans le monde germanophone.
Membre de nombreux conseils et commissions, Sabina est devenue en 2020 membre du conseil d’administration de la Chambre de commerce germano-suédoise.
