Atteinte de sclérose en plaques depuis ses 21 ans, Sofia Pace est membre de l’équipe de France de para athlétisme.
Elle réussit à surmonter cette épreuve de la vie pour en faire une force.
Ses efforts portent leurs fruits puisqu’après seulement un an de préparation intense, elle parvient à réaliser les minimas, synonyme de qualification aux Jeux Paralympiques de Paris 2024.
Elle concourt sur le 100m et 400m T38 avec un message à faire passer : malgré sa maladie, elle est capable de faire de grandes choses.
La fonctionnaire d’Etat auprès de la Direction générale des douanes et droits indirects a de la suite dans les idées et ne compte pas s’arrêter en si bon chemin : “Les championnats du monde, les championnats d’Europe et Los Angeles 2028 si mon corps tient encore le coup“.
